This program will review the pertinent state statutes and local rules governing critical pre-trial deadlines.

For the comfort of our guests, a limited number of in-person seats are available. If you wish to attend in-person, we suggest notifying our office at your earliest convenience to reserve your seat. Walk-ins will be admitted as space allows. In-person registrations expire at the start of the presentation. We do ask that you arrive promptly; otherwise your reserved seat may be given to a walk-in attendee. All registrations are assumed to be remote unless otherwise stated. Mr. Shapiro’s practice is limited to significant personal injury and wrongful death cases in areas of motor vehicle collisions, premises liability including construction site accidents, dangerous/defective roadways and defective products. His ADR practice includes mediations, arbitrations and appointments as discovery referee/facilitator. In addition to his legal and ADR practice, Mr. Shapiro has served as president of the Redwood Empire Trial lawyers Association, an adjunct professor at Sonoma State University and frequent speaker regarding discovery, trial preparation, mediation and trial of personal injury cases. Mr. Shapiro attended college at UCLA and law school at Hastings College of the Law, receiving his JD In 1980.

Ms. Zyromski practices civil litigation, including business litigation, real estate litigation, employment litigation, and landlord-tenant litigation. She advises clients throughout Northern California on best practices in landlord-tenant law and assists them in complying with the myriad changes at the federal, state, and local levels due to COVID-19. Ms. Zyromski graduated from the University of San Diego and then obtained her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she held the position of editor for the Oregon Law Review. Ms. Zyromski is a member of the State Bar of California, the Sonoma County Bar Association and its Civil Bench Bar Section, and Sonoma County Women in Law.  She was President of the Sonoma County Bar Association in 2020.
