Ms. Bader has practiced in the areas of employment and business counseling, training, and employment litigation since 1986. Prior to becoming an attorney she worked for Sonoma County Risk Management coordinating workers’ compensation and disability claims. Ms. Bader continues to represent businesses and individuals before administrative agencies such as the Labor Commissioner, the Employment Development Department, the Workers Compensation Appeals Board, Cal-OSHA, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing/Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, CA Department of Licensing, CA Department of Insurance. Her current practice includes sexual harassment training and other trainings, investigations, mediation and arbitration, as well as other alternatives for conflict resolution. Ms. Bader has performed numerous workshops and in diverse topics related to employment issues and has taught specific employment law classes for the Santa Rosa Junior College as well as written extensively in the subjects of employment law, and appeared in the Sonoma Business Journal and the Press Democrat. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Bader chairs the Employment Law section of the Sonoma County Bar Association.

David C. King

Mr. King is an AV rated employment lawyer with over thirty-five years of litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts. He practices in all areas of employment law including wrongful employment termination, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour law, trade secrets litigation, contract disputes, and contract drafting. Mr. King has also litigated and tried cases in the fields of personal injury, real estate and contract law. He serves as a mediator in all civil litigation matters through the Arbitration and Mediation Center (AMC) in Santa Rosa. Mr. King currently sits on the Petaluma City Council and has served on the Sonoma County Bar Association Board of Directors and the Sonoma County Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee. He was President of the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2006 and was on its Board from 2000-2007.
Ms. Neumann has focused her career on representing employees since 1996. First admitted in Florida in 1995, Ms. Neumann has litigated and tried employment cases in both state and federal courts in California, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska and Minnesota. She has experience with a wide variety of employment cases, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, FMLA, California Family Rights Act claims and USERRA. She also consults hourly regarding employment contracts and severance negotiations. She has argued before numerous state and federal appellate courts and, successfully argued appeals before the Missouri Supreme Court and the Minnesota Supreme Court which substantially increased worker rights in those states. Ms. Neumann is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA). Ms. Neumann was certified as a Labor and Employment Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Currently, she continues her dedication to employee representation as the owner of Neumann Law in Santa Rosa.

Victor Thuesen has practiced for 39 years, focusing primarily on labor and employment law in the state and federal courts. He was a faculty member at City College of San Francisco before becoming an attorney. His clients have been awarded damages in a wide variety of disputes, including claims of wrongful termination, whistle blower retaliation, gender, race and ethnic origin discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, defamation, violation of privacy and breach of contract. In one of his recent cases, Economy v. Sutter East Bay Hospitals (2019) 31 Cal.App.5th 1147, the Court of Appeal for the First Appellate District affirmed, for the first time in California courts, the concept of “tax neutralization” damages to compensate for the increased taxes imposed on lump sum awards. A graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, he practiced in a mid-size civil litigation firm in San Francisco representing international, national and local unions throughout the United States before locating his office in Petaluma in 1987. He is a Past President of the Sonoma County Bar Association (2005) and served as a member and Chair of the Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee. He has participated in the SCBA’s Labor and Employment Section’s annual “Recent Developments in Labor & Employment Law” presentation since its inception and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the American Civil Liberties Union.
